Congratulations on your engagement! We’re so honored that you’re thinking about tying the knot in our stunning Gothic-style sanctuary. With its towering stained glass windows and classic architecture, it’s the perfect spot to say “I do” in a setting that will leave your guests – and you – absolutely wowed.
Here at First Baptist, a wedding is more than just a celebration; it’s a beautiful moment of worship, where two hearts come together in faith, love, and community. Your first step is to contact our wedding coordinator. She is happy to assist you with a walk-through tour and review of our policies. Next, you will meet with FBC’s senior pastor for a brief introduction meeting. Pending recommendation from clergy, each couple can then proceed with securing their desired date through our coordinator, Laura Preston.

No. We do weddings for both members and non-members. All policies and requirements are the same for everyone. Charges for the use of the facilities are waived for members and their immediate family, and active church participants
All couples getting married at First Baptist Church must participate in premarital counseling with the pastor officiating
their ceremony.
If you would like a guest officiant not affiliated with FBC, this must be approved by the Senior Pastor in advance.
Guidelines for guest pastor approval will be provided by the wedding coordinator.
Please note: While we will consider your preferences, officiant assignments are based on pastor availability. All ceremonies reflect the traditions and policies of the American Baptist Church.
FBC has an amazing wedding team to ensure your wedding day is perfect! The required team for all weddings consists of the minister, wedding coordinator, sound system technician and custodian. Talented FBC musicians,
including our organist, are available, but optional.
Your deposit of $500 along with a signed contract will reserve your wedding date. FBC’s basic package for a wedding ceremony is $1750. This fee covers your use of the facility as well as the wedding team.
The total fee for your wedding is based upon the package and features you have selected. All payments are due to the church 30 days before the wedding.

You may want to consider using FBC as the location for your rehearsal dinner or reception. There are several rooms to choose from that are available to you at an additional cost
