Rooted in Faith, Guided by Scripture, United in Love, and Driven by Mission
First Baptist Church of Greater Cleveland is a diverse, Christ-centered community where faith and everyday life meet. Rooted in Scripture and guided by the Spirit, we follow Jesus with open minds, compassionate hearts, and active hands.
We are a church that values thoughtful faith, authentic worship, and generous service. We believe that following Jesus means growing in grace, welcoming all people, and joining God’s work of healing and justice in the world.
Since 1832, we have been a congregation where tradition and innovation come together—where the questions of faith are not feared but explored, and where love is expressed through action. Whether you are beginning your faith journey or seeking a church home for your family, you’ll find a place to belong, grow, and serve here.
